Whoa. My last post was almost a month ago! Maybe I'm not so good at this blogging thing, after all!
I know that summer only officially started this week, but I have to say that since Memorial Day weekend I've hardly caught my breath! Our weekends have been filled with tons of family events, spending time with friends, going to the lake, and organizing our home! Tony finally convinced me that it's time to pare down and get rid of the things we really don't need. I've heard before that you should only keep something if it's "useful or beautiful" (or something like that) so I'm trying to use that as a mantra while I sort through old boxes of decor and mementos. We really don't have much room, and even though Bacon will weigh somewhere between 6 and 9 pounds at birth... he comes with a lot of gear.
Speaking of that little fella, my former co-worker (and amazingly talented photographer) Casie Beldo took some really fun maternity shots of the three of us a couple weeks ago. (Tony kept trying to call them "paternity" photos, but I reminded him that he couldn't get a picture of our baby unless I was in the picture too, so he conceded and let me be in all of them!).
I am just in love with Casie's eye for design and the way she captured exactly what we wanted to portray: lighthearted, fun, unique pics:
Now these, I won't be paring down. Ever.
